Okay so let me be clear about something.
I obviously can’t deny that my life is probably much better than those kids on the picture, but does it make my problems a joke?
HELL TO THE NO. I have food, a house, a family, a school, health… But that doesn’t mean I can’t be upset or cry, that doesn’t mean I HAVE to smile all the fucking time.
I have the right to complain about certain things. I won’t say that I’d rather be those kids. I’m just saying that you should obviously not call other people fucking ridiculous for things they are sad about.
We are all human and we all must be unhappy sometimes. Get over it.

really? are you not seeing the whole point? obviously you have the right to complain and you have to right to be unhappy sometimes. I’m guessing the person who made this wasn’t trying to say “be happy all the time because you’re not these kids” it’s just to show how grateful you should be for having food, clean water, and a bed to sleep in because I’m sure these children would gladly trade their problem of trying to survive and living in poverty to your little problems of not being able to the perfect pair of shoes. If you think otherwise, you need a reality check.

this is jade. she’s gorgeous. and she should have been able to live a normal teenage life. but, because of some of her classmates, she isn’t with us anymore. jade killed herself 3 days after creating this video. If you’re against bullying; reblog this. jade would want people to know the dangers of bullying and the consequences it leaves people with. bullies are people who are angry with their lives, so find a way to take it out on other people. some of them go too far, which causes people just like jade to take their lives just to stay out of the misery they are being put through. suicide can be prevented, we all just need to try.
but in all honestly, i feel more sorry for the kids who ended up with cancer or who don’t even have a roof over their head and are practically starving to death. She had the choice and she chose to end her life. There are so many people in this world fighting to live and someone can so easily take their own life, which is why I don’t have much pity for them. Sure, you might say that i dont understand the whole situation, but believe me I do. I’ve been called every bad name there really is, I’ve had everyone in my old middle school hate me, even people I didn’t even know, I had rumors spread around about me that I was a whore, that I did drugs, that I cut, that I was a lesbain someone even said that I gave a blow job to a guy for 50 cents, none of what they said was true. I remember in one class the teacher wanted me to move seats and he told me to sit on the desk by the window and everyone on that side was saying things like “ew no” “i dont want to sit next to her” “why is she even in this class”. Another class I had the teacher wanted me to go to the back of the room to take a test and while I was walking to go take my test this guy thought it would be funny to try and trip me and all these girls kept calling me a whore, a slut, and a tramp and the teacher heard them and said nothing. I even remember walking to classes and having people come up to me asking how many guys ive slept with, if i wanted to fuck them, if i would go out with a girl they know, if i was a lesbian, and how many cuts I had on my wrists. I didn’t know any of them but somehow they knew me. the whole fucking school did, and i was only there for a month. At first ignored it but it got to a point where I hated school and I just wanted everyone to leave me the fuck alone so I tried to tell teachers and counselors but they didn’t do anything. I ended up leaving the school and I’m did because the next school I went to was much better. The point is I understand exactly what it feels like to be bullied, teased, and hated by an entire school but yet I never once thought about ending my life, instead I taught myself that it dosent matter what people think of me. Why should I allow their opinions to affect me? Thats exactly what they want. And what does it matter anyway people will think and do what they want, but you have control on how you feel. Trying to stop bullying entirely is pointless, there’s always going to be someone trying to bring you down, you just can’t let them. You have to teach yourself not to care so much what others think and do what makes you happy. cutting does nothing but cause scars and everytime you look at them you will be reminded of painful memories. The girl in the video is actually very pretty and probably had a bright future ahead of her and its a shame that some fucking losers managed to make her believe differently, and its also ashame that she let them.
